I thought I made this announcement 5 hours ago, but apparently I didn't get posted, anyway...

          My first story published on Wattpad is back! A Titan and Human Love Story. The first five chapters are out now.

          Kenji is thrust into a strange new life as the King's chosen consort. But not everyone welcomes the union of Titan and Human. Whispers, sidelong glances, and outright hatred plague their love. The world sees their physical difference as a mark of shame, a reminder of a dark past.

          Yet in the face of rejection and ridicule, the couple sets out to prove that love, no matter the size, needs no permission to exist.

          As they navigate palace life, cultural barriers, and their own desires, their bond is tested by tradition, politics, and passion. But Toji's love is unwavering, and Kenji begins to realize that the world he once sought to discover... may have been waiting to discover him.

@Mochi711 this is the Spotlight.

          Hi, I’m Kenji. I’m biracial, and I mainly write queer romance, though I also write straight romances and stories in other genres.

          I focus on character-driven stories with flawed people or who challenge social norms. A good example is my runner-up story Yeah, My Boyfriend’s a Nerd. It rejects the default tall dominant male and smaller softer female template and flips it: Tasha is the taller, louder, more physically confident, and dominant partner, without losing her femininity, while Noah’s nervousness, blushing, and physical tentativeness are treated as attractive rather than traits he needs to overcome into traditional masculinity.

          For readers who like to dig deeper, I often layer symbolism into my characters’ appearances, names, actions, and more. Two of my most experimental stories in this vein are The Mafia’s Son and Ryuu’s Debt.

          My most popular story (and the one I’m proudest of) is Diary of Tyrell Samuel Johnson aka TJ. This queer urban romance follows Tyrell’s present-day relationship with his younger, smaller, white boyfriend Bryan. Their relationship begins imperfect and deeply flawed, but it endures pressure and grows stronger. Alongside the present, Tyrell narrates his own upbringing, revealing the struggles that shape him and explaining why his bond with Bryan matters so much. The story explores themes of racism, homophobia, toxic masculinity, family, and generational trauma. Tyrell, along with Miguel and Lamar, are among the most complex and flawed characters I’ve ever written.

Hi! Since you won 2nd place for best First Line in the Lavender Jade Mini Awards, you are entitled to write your own Winner's Spotlight, as well as 10 votes on your winning story.

          Since your story is a one shot, it means you have 9 votes remaining. Which story would you like me to apply the other 9 votes to?

Mochi711

@K8nji_G0mez Will do!

            You can write the Spotlight and either send it to me via email or discord (see the very bottom of my Wattpad bio), or you could write it here and @ me so I can see it. Your choice!

@Mochi711 you can apply the rest of the votes to Diary of Tyrell Samuel Johnson aka TJ, thank you. And were do I write the Winner's Spotlight or how do I deliver it?
