Here’s a sneak peak at my new novel. It should start coming out in early spring, once “ The Coven’s Heir” is finished. :)

          	“When the Sun Went Quiet”

          	The sun didn’t disappear.
          	It was silenced.

Cara Holloway wakes in a glass capsule surrounded by hundreds of frozen bodies—human lives suspended in darkness. She doesn’t know how long she’s been gone, why she was taken, or why she’s the only one awake. When alarms sound and guards close in, she runs—into a world that no longer remembers the light.

The sun never rises. Crops have failed. Cities stand hollow beneath a permanent night. Humanity survives under the control of an immortal elite who claim the darkness was necessary to save what remained.

Kylen Marsh is one of them.

Controlled, dangerous, and bound to a system he helped enforce, Kylen offers Cara protection—but nothing about him feels safe. As Cara learns about the Selection—the process that decides who is transformed, who is preserved, and who is abandoned—she realizes the system has no place for her.

          	She doesn’t fit.
          	She doesn’t belong.
          	She is an error.

As Cara searches for her sister and uncovers the truth behind the sun’s silence, the line between captor and ally begins to blur. Kylen’s certainty fractures under her questions, and something unspoken grows between them—something neither of them can afford. Because if the system discovers what Cara is, Kylen will be forced to choose between the world he survived and the one person who makes him question it.

In a world built on sacrifice,
love may be the most dangerous rebellion of all.

Hi everyone, long time no chat. I am officially back though and in the midst of finishing Coven's heir. I am sad I haven't finished it sooner, but better late than never right? Hopefully you'll give my book a read or if you have stuck with me for the past couple years, thank you so much for your patience. The ending is insight and I hope you like it.

"You’re going to realize it one day — that happiness was never about your job, or your degree, or being in a relationship. Happiness was never about following in the footsteps of all of those who came before you, it was never about being like the others. One day, you’re going to see it — that happiness was always about the discovery, the hope, the listening to your heart and following it wherever it chose to go. Happiness was always about being kinder to yourself, it was always about embracing the person you were becoming. One day, you will understand. That happiness was always about learning how to live with yourself, that happiness was never in the hands of other people. It was always about you. It was always about you
