Kate is the pen name that I use to  write urban & paranormal fantasy, with a romantic twist (Lost Library) and  without (Spirelli Paranormal Investigations.) Kate is also the name I go by in the writerly world, though it's not the one I was born with = ) 
I also write under the pen names Cate Lawley and K.D. Baray. Cate writes sweet contemporary fantasy romance (The Goode Witch Matchmaker) and K.D. writes thriller/suspense (Beauregard.) Like that 3rd person? ;-)
