K. C. Swier grew up in New York reading all the best comics, horror, fantasy and science-fiction out there. They remain his major influences along with favorite author George R. R. Martin. He was a regular at all the local NY comic conventions and movie premieres. He's even been spotted, on occasion, at a midnight showing of The Rocky Horror Picture Show. The Midwest is his adopted home. He currently resides in the Chicago suburbs with his wife and children. He lives and dies with his Chicago Bears and supports all the major Chicago sports teams - except the Cubs. His spare time is mostly spent writing but he steps away from the keyboard to help coach youth football and wrestling. Swier remains a slave to corporate America working as a low-level sub-demon in the ninth ring of hell: Finance. He hopes that his writing will one day set him free from the fiery pit...
