I'm sorry I haven't been updating , but I have been having back to back flares. I'm trying to get what I can done as quickly as my illness will allow, not that I'm getting reads anyway.

"Q: When I’m dividing my manuscript into chapters, how long should each chapter be? Are there any requirements on length? –Anonymous

There are no hard-and-fast rules on how long or short a chapter needs to be. It could be three pages. It could be 22. It could be 40. You shouldn’t set manuscript guidelines for yourself on chapter length. Each chapter in your book tells a mini-story that forwards your overall plot. Chapters should be just long enough to serve a purpose and, once that purpose is served, cut off so a new chapter (or mini-story) can begin."
No one tell me my chapters are "too long." There's no such thing. It's your work. It's my work. You decide how long your chapters are. People can complain all they want. You can't satisfy everyone.

I know it's taking me a long time to update the second book of "Carthenia." I am chronically ill, so I have to write around flares.
I have many books sitting in a file on my computer with a beginning. Some of them you might find more interesting. I've got a witch series, vampire series, assassin series, and more waiting to be completed.
          Please have patience with me.
(I also just got a new puppy, and he's a lot of work too.)

Carthenia is currently undergoing some slight modifications. The only things that are changing are the names of certain people and cities to better fit the Genesis of Carthenia. I'll write a novella later, but I will say that each race is based on an ancient civilization. Chapters 1-9 are complete. I will try to get to the rest tomorrow. I will post another update when it is complete.
