The aroma of toast - not perfectly golden and slightly too dark - drifted through the kitchen as Vision stood at the stove , apron around her waist and a spatula in hand and eyebrows drawn together as she stared intensely at the eggs she was cooking .
          
          “ Statistically , breakfast is considered the most important meal of the day . I find this… comforting “ she turned around to face Wanda who’d just entered the kitchen “ I’ve taken the liberty of preparing something . Well - ‘ preparing ’ may be a generous word . I assembled breakfast “ she held out a plate towards the other a lopsided grin plastered on her features .
          
          “ I know we’ve saved the world . Several times, in fact . But today , I’d like to save … this moment . Just you , me , and slightly overcooked eggs and toast . “

            *  wanda had given a smile at that ,  please with vizh && her attempt at eggs && toast .  she would humor her in said attempt ,  taking the plate from the androids hands && cutlery from the drawer .  this was easy ,  peaceful .  *
