A glimpse into it:
After I was content, I sat down on a bench. Everything felt so surreal — completely still, with no one else around. Eyes closed, I tilted my head up, letting snowflakes fall onto my face. Pure Bliss.
A sudden, loud screeching noise forced my eyes open and my gaze settled on a car.
Apparently, whoever it was— drifted on the turn and zoomed out onto the road in front of me. I felt relieved when it passed, but then it screeched to a halt. I tensed. Maybe I shouldn't have come out here alone at this time.
The windows were tinted. It was impossible to tell how many people were inside or what they were doing.
The car just sat there. No one got out. No one went in. Unease crept inside me slowly. Clutching my jacket, I stood up. Just as I was about to walk away, the car sped off.
My legs froze from the fear I was feeling right now, and I stood frozen for a minute before finally mustering the courage to walk back.
The entire way, my eyes kept darting around paranoid. It felt like someone was watching—but no one was there. It took me ten minutes to get back, and I rushed inside, locking the door behind me as fast as I could.
