Sounds like my buddy who’s a helicopter mechanic. All he did was sit around for AIT. Anyway I finally got my orders for MP school in July. Strange knowing I might go back to the same battalion I did my BCT at.

@Mason12t7 was fun for the most part, definitely repetitive at times because after learning so much about the Abrams and how to use it, we spent our days at the motorpool cleaning or sitting around

I’m conflicted. I got this book a while back when I was visiting the WW2 Museum in Gettysburg and ran into two of the higher ranking people who run the Battle of the Bulge Association. While there, I was able to get a challenge coin the older gentleman gave me the coin, and the Treasurer (I believe) who also gave me a book that recounted different soldiers points of views of the Massacres at Malmedy and Wereth.

This leads me to the dilemma. I wanted to share their stories here, but I don’t know if that would be disgraceful to them or not. I may be overthinking it but I don’t know…
