I just have to say something:
So I was rewatching Momo’s collaboration stage with Mina for her last Hit The Stage performance before JYP Nation Japan, and I’m actually so angry.
WHY THE FUCK DID SHE NOT WIN??
LIKE SHE LITERALLY TOLD THE STORY SO WELL.
IF ANY OF YOU DONT KNOW, HER DANCE WAS BASED ON A TRUE STORY ABOUT A MAN WHO WAS OBSESSIVELY IN LOVE WITH THIS GIRL WHO DIDNT KNOW HIM, AND HE KIDNAPPED HER AND LOCKED HER UP AND SHE CONTACTED THE POLICE BUT THEY NEVER HELPED HER AND SHE SADLY DIED (RIP SUNNY KIM)
IN THE DANCE MINA PLAYED SUNNY AND MOMO PLAYED THE GUY AND THEY DID IT SO SO WELL. LIKE I CRIED.
At the end, some dancers came on and wiped black paint all over theirs and Momo’s faces and then covered their eyes to show the sin (Momo being the murder, society an accomplice as they did nothing to help and the covering eyes was to show that society acted as if it never happened.)
I really don’t know how Momo didn’t win with that. The theme for that episode was love, and everyone else did all these sappy cheesy summer love type things, but Momo went for something deeper and told a story. I know this happened last year, but rewatching it made me realise how stupid those judges were and the audience. That dance was better than any dance on there.
Mina’s acting and the incorporation of different dance styles (modern dance, contemporary and pure ballet) made it seem so real, and Momo’s acting just highlighted the entire dance to make it seem as if Momo was crazily in love with Mina (who was scared to death.)
I’m just angry. How did she not win? And I’m not trying to be biased, but COME ON!! SHE WAS BETTER THAN EVERYONE BECAUSE SHE TOLD A STORY, A TRUE INE AND MADE IT SEEM LIKE THE AUDIENCE WERE THERE!
If something like this happens again, @ Mnet, I’m reporting you bitch.
