"Shaunee and Erin were in their room, unpacking. Their parents were long gone, but they felt like family was right there, in each other. And you wouldn't believe how much they didn't have in common! Erin liked Jay-Z, Shaunee liked Nina Simone. Erin liked Superman, Shaunee liked Spiderman, etc., etc. But still, it was like they read each others minds! They could tell what the other one was thinking and finish each others sentences!
After a long day of getting a tour around the school, Shaunee and Erin went to bed. Like Hell did they sleep! They were up all night, talking to each other.
"So, do you have a boyfriend?" Shaunee asked Erin.
"Yeah, but he dumped me after I was Marked," Erin answered, sadly.
Shaunee got angry: "What an idiot! I can't believe it! What was his name?"
"Jared Dawson. A friend texted me he's already going out with some Kayla girl from Broken Arrow," Erin told Shaunee.
They laughed, cried and 'Oh My Goddess'd all night long. They really werent ready for class.
"I'm professor Kailani. I will teach you karate," a tall, korean vampyre said. She was dressed in a kimono and had a black belt.
"Wow!" Shaunee and Erin whispered to each other.
After showing them the basics, Kailani said: "Well, my pupils, go change into your kimonos and come back."
Shaunee and Erin looked at each other and exlamed "Yuck!" "I can't believe we have to wear that thing!" Erin shouted in disgust. "You're telling me! No one ever said we'd have to wear hideous stuff, if we came here!" Shaunee agreed. Erin, then, had a plan.
After sneaking out of class and running to their room, Shaunee and Erin were wearing stylish black shorts, a white shirt and a jacket. Erin had a blue one, while Shaunee chose red. They looked really good!
"What do you think you're doing?" the professor exlaimed. "Go put on your kimonos! Now!!!"
