Dear Beautiful Human,

Hiiiii.

Before I say anything about myself, I must say: Thank you! Thanks for visiting my page, and for reading what I've posted so far (if you have, that is).

Now, some random things about me:
☆ I'll be a college student this fall.
☆ I'm obsessed with James Baldwin (Favorite book by him: Giovanni's Room).
☆ I want to read your stories, so leave a comment.
☆ I enjoy being outside.
☆ Yes, I drew that little bird.

I'm working hard on my first novel, "Ruth and Glory," and I'll be updating my story and checking messages frequently. So please, please, make my day and say "Hi," or comment on my story or whatever. I'll also be writing some short stories and post those up, too, in case you don't want to tackle "Ruth."

----------------------

Now for the 5 W's:

WHO I write for: Initially, it was for myself - selfish, I know - but since I'm here, I'm writing for you, too.

WHAT I write: Contemporary things. Prose, mostly.

WHERE I write: Anywhere.

WHEN I write: Whenever. I have no set routine.

WHY I write: "All writers are vain, selfish and lazy, and at the very bottom of their motives there lies a mystery. Writing a book is a horrible, exhausting struggle, like a long bout of some painful illness. One would never undertake such a thing if one were not driven on by some demon whom one can neither resist nor understand." ~ Taken from George Orwell's essay titled, "Why I Write" (You should check it out, it's pretty interesting).

Thanks again, and happy reading!

Cheers,
Kabour
