@KaidenA9, I have a long question-like theory (which is a spoiler) that I might predict it. So here it is:
          
          In the abandoned mansion, when the Avengers (Iron Man, Ms. Marvel, Black Widow), Captain Stacy, and Wraith followed Sam Anderson (in his black suit a.k.a The Symbiote) while he is searching for his Spider team being held hostage by Kraven. Until Kraven trapped him in a box, Sam tries to break it out but failed, but the black suit (a.k.a Venom) took over Sam's action, and breaks the box with full force, having symbiote tentacles on his back.
          
          After a long short battle between Sam and Kraven; the Avengers, Capt. Staculy, and Wraith freed the Spiders from their cages and went after Sam, and they saw him strangling Kraven, but Widow shot Sam on the shoulder, making Kraven his escape. Wraith and the Avengers surround Sam tried to reason with him, but he refuse it. So instead, Sam lets out a huge symbiote blast, making Wraith and the other Avengers trapped in symbiote sludge, but Capt. Stacy said to Sam to stop this madness, but Sam didn't listen. So he trapped him also, along with the other two spider men. And Gwen, is the only one left.
          
          Gwen remembered Peter and Miles's words that she is the key to able to free Sam from the symbiote, Gwen asked Sam to stop, but Sam said that the creature from his visions could only killed tge one he loved dearly, but Sam said that the suit will help him prevent it from happening and saved Gwen from it, but Gwen refused and said that this isn't what he wants, and she knows what Miguel O' Hara (a.k.a Spider-Man 2099) is talking about; by doing nothing while your canon event is going to happen by changing it, and being Spider-Man is a sacrifice. Sam couldn't take it anymore, and he went full rampage. And as for Gwen, she had no option but to free Sam with force.
          
          A battle between lovers.
