Hey, I appreciate you liked my story and it inspired you, but what you wrote is plagiarism. Stories can have a similar premise, but can't be identical with just slight character changes.
With that said, the story I wrote took me over a year to finalize. It's a timely process and takes a lot of effort and creativity. For some tips to make something you're own, take your time, create original characters who you would like to be around. Then put them in a challenging situation and build from there. Googling writing prompts can also be very helpful.
Here's an example: Take the fantasy version of yourself. You're grocery shopping alone but are trying to desperately find a bathroom and run into someone you have a crush on. That person could be with other people. They engage talking to you but you have an accident in front of them. Imagine their reaction and what happens. Build your story and characters from there. Have fun with it!
