I’m done processing shit for the most part, so I’m posting this. This song is one I was sent a verse for and worked it into something. I have a few songs ready for when I come back, this is just a one off haha.

@Revilo_2002 yeah man it was pretty deep! It might very well prove important haha. I’m thinking of pulling one of my older songs for a sequel, but I don’t know which yet.

@KaidensLyrics Man I’m looking forward to seeing what you have for the bonus tracks/sequel! I actually wrote a little X-Men inspired verse of my own after reading this haha, I can send it to you if you want to use it!
@Revilo_2002 haha yeah man it was pretty deep! I’m glad you enjoyed it though. The first song I wrote for this was Shapeshifter, and I kinda only made that because I was reading Sabretooth and Mystique (because I have issues 1 and 2). After I wrote that I was like “ok this has some potential”. So I wrote Bad Joke? Bad Idea. Which was meant to have an almost Deadpool like smart mouth originally. Not sure how much of that I kept haha. Then when it came to titling, I originally went for Mutants. But I didn’t want the title to have its own track, and I felt X worked better as a title than it would a track. It also has many different interpretations. You have X-Men, 10 (numerals), X like “this person x this person”. X like a kiss at the end of the text. So it just seemed very versatile and easy to work with. But yeah this whole songbook grew because I was reading comics and shit haha. I’m really glad I was able to put out something so good so soon, but this is the beginning. The bonus tracks, or maybe even a sequel, are gonna be something good too!
