@KaidensLyrics Damn I know exactly what it’s like to lose an entire post worth of work man! It’s very frustrating especially when you’ve put your heart and soul into it and it’s just never the same the second time you write it. If you’re lucky enough, you might be able to get a version of it back using the revisions feature, but if that’s not possible, then I know that struggle all too well lol. I’m sure even if you do have to start from scratch again, it’ll still turn out amazing, your appreciation posts are always so sweet and heartfelt!

Okay so this is the first song from “MATURITY” that’s gonna release early. Likely to be the only one too. I just really liked the storytelling in this one and all in all it came out pretty nicely.

Of course this is a fictional song, I don’t really have anything against Eminem or the Slim Shady persona, quite the opposite. It just made for a good writing point.

Started writing again. The book will be called MATURITY. It’ll be done before Christmas, but I think with the Christmas songbook already out I’m probably gonna wait until after Christmas to publish this one
@KaidensLyrics Oooo that sounds very interesting man, I definitely agree it’s better to wait until after Christmas to publish it, but I’m already very excited to see how it turns out! I’m sure it’ll be amazing as your songbooks normally are!
I really hope you like this one. It’s more of an eye opening song and isn’t a very happy one but should be more reflective.
I feel like this song is the most important of the whole songbook, it’s not just about struggle, but also bringing people together. It’s about giving recognition to those that don’t have the same privileges that the majority of people do.

Alright I’ve just published the Christmas songbook. It’s not meant to be very cheerful and “oooh it’s Christmas”. That’s why there’s quite a dark turn somewhere.
Now I do also have one more song I’m considering writing for it. To me it would show the opposite side of Christmas. The side of those that are less fortunate than many of us reading this right now.
But truth be told, it’s hard to find a way to do it. I am working on it though.

@KaidensLyrics Aww you’re welcome man and I think you definitely succeeded in putting your own unique twist on it I agree that we are definitely very lucky to have the privilege to be able to experience Christmas the way we do and I agree most people definitely take it for granted and don’t really think about the struggles of other people in the world during the festive time of year I’m sure you’ll do an amazing job with the extra track and I know it will be very special when you finally finish it and release it
@Revilo_2002 Man that means so much to me. I wanted to give it the feeling of Christmas, without being as boring and repetitive as most Christmas albums are. I wanted to change it a bit and throw something else in the mix. When I had the idea for Reindeer Roll Call I kinda realised “yeah this is it. This is how it’s gotta be done”. I wanted to involve things like reindeer, snowmen, Santa and elves, but add my own little spin to it. Making this songbook was enlightening in multiple ways. I realised that not everybody has it as easy as the average family. Some people don’t get Christmas gifts, some fight for their lives. That we should all be grateful for what we have because it’s a privilege. And that’s kinda why I started the extra track too
@KaidensLyrics Man I know I say this after every songbook but this genuinely might be the best one you’ve released so far! I love everything about it from the concepts to the wordplay and the execution of the whole songbook was just immaculate it really was! I read the whole thing with a humongous grin on my face because I could see the inspiration behind most of it and I know you absolutely nailed it in terms of staying true to the spirit of Christmas whilst also giving it that gritty gangster rap vibe and I love how dark it gets towards the end. I know this might sound like a stretch but I am being deadly serious when I say that this is better than “Santa Clause Goes Straight To The Ghetto” by Snoop Dogg. I honestly think that you’ll have a hard time topping this one but I know you have it in you and I cannot wait to see what you have in the pipeline next! Also if you want any help with the other song concept that you are struggling with, I’d love to help you with it! I’ve been writing a few more hard hitting, thought provoking tracks myself lately as you’ll see either later today or tomorrow so I might be able to assist you with making sure you get the song exactly how you intended it to be! But honestly I’m just so happy that you decided to make this! In this era of uninspired, soulless and generic Christmas songs getting churned out every year by musicians tryna earn a quick buck, this songbook has honestly been so refreshing and so lovingly crafted. You’ve really outdone yourself with this one man!
