I have to go for a college taster day and meet the tutor and all that shit in the morning. I think I’ll be fine but anxiety is a huuuge knife in my back…
Also an hour walk there (and back later) bc I don’t feel like taking a bus.

@Revilo_2002 hey man, I got back from the college a little over two hours ago. I got there at 10:08 so I was 22 minutes early in the end. I have an interview on Tuesday and a taster session on the 30th. I forgot the times exactly but I believe the interview is at 11 or 11 something. But yeah it went well and out of the 8 of us in that like “meet the tutor” I was the only one with my subject.

@Revilo_2002 I’m pretty excited too. I’ve wrote quite a few stories over the course of my life, so I’d say I’m somewhat experienced. But to be quite honest, it does get difficult to pick the start. I have a general plan but the start is always the most difficult because you don’t want to open too slow, there’d be no natural hook. But if you start too fast you lose any momentum at the slightest change of pace. So the hardest bit for me is getting an idea for an opening paragraph, once I’ve got that I can do pretty well haha. We’ll see what I come up with
