Thanks so much for another insightful comment! And yes, I did intend for this first book to mostly focus on Stevie having a corruption arc I hinted at it with Garren always saying they were similar. That of course, would lead to a series of disastrous consequences later now that two Garrens would exist in St. Sinclair and have both Stevie and Garren realising their destructive tendencies as they act as mirrors for each other and build to a form of redemption.
Though, in this first book Garren's change was aimed to be smaller and more of only stepping out of his usual character in regards to Stevie such as pleading with her to go to the IAO or apologising or sparing Archie because he knows Stevie felt bad for him. But maybe I should've done more situations to show that XD (it's definitely something I'll look into working on it's editing, so thank you)
@_HEROWIN_ That makes sense. OMG the idea of there being two Garrens in the school is actually exciting, would be awesome to see the two of them compete and butt heads!
