@Sillybeanns Hi :) It's messages like this that keep me from making bad choices like deleting my entire account like I wanted to do yesterday. Seriously, I was going to delete it because life is crazy. "Then YOU showed up!" Don't feel bad about not responding! I overshare quite often, so it's no biggie. LOL So, the songwriting—the most basic process of it is to document your ideas, physically or digitally, especially if you have melodies associated with the lyrics or music. Then choose if you prefer to work in-person with another songwriter, musician, or producer; or if you prefer to outsource the work by posting it on social media and/or one of the many online platforms for songwriters & artists to find someone to complete the idea for you. Those are the super basic first steps. Before taking steps toward those actions, you have to decide what your goal is for your songwriting: hobby for fun and no exposure, local artist level exposure, or larger scale exposure. That answer will depend on how far and how costly your efforts will need to be to write, record, network, and distribute.
