I hope all of you are doing well and staying happy.
There is something I didn't inform you about earlier, and I wanted to speak about it only after the matter was resolved. My first book was completely copied and posted on stck.me and Wattpad, with only minor changes such as names and locations.
One of my readers stumbled upon it and shared it with me and I found out who is that by going through the people who paid for my complete book on stck (sneakyjuice is my account) in the month of October. This apparently happened after Wattpad moved my book to drafts (I checked the date on which she first published the chapter), and I was in contact with the said author all this time because I did edit the book and wanted to republish it.
After weeks of nonstop discussion, including her claiming that she was the first to post the story and that I copied it, and also calling me a small author (which I agree I am), I have decided to rewrite the story.
Thank you to everyone who continues to follow and support me. If you can, please do read the versions I publish, as there will be minute changes—especially to a few characters, though those changes will also be subtle.
Let's leave this matter here because I am not going to let any of you get into verbal spats with her or her readers. Trust me, those words shouldn't sting, but they did and I wouldn't want any of you to face that.
This may also be one of the reasons I couldn't fully focus on The Marriage of Illusion, well of course on top of that was my exam and I didn't want to say anything about this because I was afraid that it may seem like I am playing some victim card here ↕️ or that I am making excuses (You all should know by now that I overthink everything *sheepish smile* .)
Lastly, I believe that the essence of the story which I add cannot be copied ♀️ by anyone.

@that_romance_nerd The author has me on block or deactivated the account for now (I even created a new account to check, but for now yes). Thank you so much for supporting and understanding ♡, if the book is back under different account or something, I will definitely take action through Wattpad
@Kairaa3 Di isn't there something you can do like maybe show a reel that you posted before or maybe u have a snap or something of the story being posted beforehand as proof that you can put up to stck or Wattpad
