Kalamkaar:The LIterary Society of DDUC

The significance of creativity cannot be overseen in this era of freedom of speech, thought and expression. Kalamkaar-The Literary Society of the college, caters to this need of students and provide a platform to express themselves. The Literary wing strengthens the art of writing and the Fine Arts wing helps the young artists showcase their creativity. The Graphic wing of the society provide opportunities to budding graphic designers by organising various workshops.With an aim of fostering the creative potential of expression amongst students, Kalamkaar organizes a various literary activities such as open-mic, creative writing competitions, painting competitions and poster making competitions under AURORA.Kalamkaar Literature Festival and Kalamkaar Kavi Samelaan have added a greater dimension to the creative wings of the society witnessing a footfall of around 3500 students. With a motto of HIND SALAAM,KALAM PRANAAM the society is now one of the renowned literary societies of University of Delhi.
