As one of my 2019 New Year's Resolutions, I started a literary journal! We are currently accepting submissions for our first issue and I cannot put into words how excited I am about this. www.houseofsalazar.com

There may be a slew of works posted to this page later today. Please feel free to ignore all of them for now. They are not updating, yet. I am merely testing something with the covers and the tags. That said, if anything strikes your interest, you're welcome to state as much because I'm presently deciding what project to work on for the next month.
I haven't finished the next part of the Flora section, yet, but I have a pleasantly ridiculous section of The Realism Guidebook ready to post when that's done. Sometimes writing research takes you into bizarre places ...
The second part to the Tree Lore segment has been added! Flowers will be added eventually, but we're going to do a different take on those (focusing on the language of flowers rather than lore). That section might be more relevant to you historical writers!
There has, for the first time in a while, been an update to The Realism Guidebook! A section was removed for the time being, due to the amount of time it is taking to research. However, a new section on Flora, specifically on Tree Lore has been added! More to follow.
The time of year in which I have time to write is approaching. Better yet, I've been outlining for the past six months, which means I have projects to work on. Work begins November 1st at the stroke of midnight (NaNoWriMo, anyone? Seriously, looking for writing buddy friends.).
Today is the start of Camp NaNo, for me. One day late, due to Easter, but I'm working on two different projects and the one (hopefully) will be complete by the middle of summer. The other is a bit more complicated and (if it goes well), I'm driving that one straight toward a publishing house I've been eying up for a while.
Anyone else doing Camp?
Bonsoir. So, I'm about to start posting Lunch on the Gulf (LOTG) here. Updates will be slow/irregular as I'm rewriting certain parts of it before posting. As per usual, I really appreciate all feedback I receive. It genuinely helps my writing process and my revision process. Cheers, and I hope you're all enjoying your summers so far!
