Hey, it's been a while and I doubt a lot of people will read this, but I feel like I need to say something about this.
Today, one of my male friends was slapped by a girl he had broken up with a while ago. He wasn't doing anything creepy, and had been very respectfully even after they ended things. (He ended things because she was very toxic and just not a good person, for the record)
I just think it's very sad that no one offered him anything, no sympathy or even checked on him because he's a guy. But we all know that if it had been the other way around (If he had slapped her), he would've gotten in so much trouble and many people would be very angry with him and supporting her.
I just want to say that no matter how angry you are at someone, physical violence is NEVER the answer. Guy, Girl, or other. Showing basic human respect is bigger than your gender.
I hope none of you have had experiences with this but if you have I'm quite sorry. Anyways, I wish you all the best and thank you for taking time to read this. It means the world to me.
