Does anyone else get super lazy when they're editing their manuscript? Have any good tips for pushing forward?

@Kadra_Writes I mostly edit before I post so what pushes me forward is seeing all of my logical plot holes and panicking and wanting those to be fixed so my readers understand what is going on. Perhaps you are editing it so future readers can enjoy it more. I also edit because it makes me happy to use people's advice and apply it in my own writing. Finally, taking breaks to do something else really helps. Oh and editing can make you find new opportunities to flesh out your story; it's not just polishing, sometimes it's transforming the plot in unexpected but usually satisfying ways. Those are the incentives I can come up with. Hope that helps.
