People mostly talk about mental health and depression or anxiety when a public figure takes a drastic step or comes out about dealing with something. There are many out there dealing with so much more in daily life going through so much behind closed doors! It's sad that people are still judgemental and opinionated and they aren't kind enough to show others with nice words . Telling someone with anxiety to stop over thinking or telling someone who is depressed to stop feeling sad or telling them like " it's all in your head " is very mediocre. If you can't make things better for them, don't make it worse by saying such things or mocking them for needing a therapist. Lend a listening ear or give them an affirmation of being there for them because your soft words may be a ray of hope for them. Sometimes People just need to be heard and shown that their cloud of grief has a sliver lining. Make kindness and humanity the new cool because if you aren't kind for starters none of your education or achievements really count. If anyone on my friend list ever feels the need to talk, I am here...
