Taking a 5 week English writing course as my college pre-requisites and to help my writing in general.
I uploaded the updated version of “The Wind Holds Memories” (chapters 1-10) for shiis and giggles. I just want to see how it will fair.
Where is your favorite place to get inspiration for your book?
Mine is in the shower.

Not sure if anyone noticed… I doubt anyone did.
But…
I took down all the chapters of “The Wind Holds Memories”.
It is for a good reason. I have made major adjustments and editing to the book that the one still posted was so backdated.
It had to be taken down.
Once my current cycle is over, I might be prompted to put it back up.
Because I am currently in a loop of constant editing and making changes. Indecisiveness at its finest.
@thegreentraveler damnnnn That’s a lot! 200 chapters?!? And I’m crying over 12 I totally understand though. Sometimes you need to take them down and work on them properly…

@Kanye_Ariel oh believe me-I'm crying all right. Worst decision making EVER!! But it SO needed to be done.
I have come to the conclusion that I don’t know how to write a villainous character or their arc.
I just don’t have it in me to write a bad person.
It takes me longer to even write insults or negative dialogues.
@Afrojarose15 I just might do that. I need to separate myself from the book. I put too much of my own self into it.
@Kanye_Ariel Yes, I understand what you mean. I usually struggle with all anyways. But it's better once you get a hang of it. You don't have to envision yourself as the characters, you can always just envision an already bad character from something as an example. That's what I do
@Afrojarose15 The most difficult one is writing dialogue for them. Because I find it difficult to envision being bad to people. So even if I have a red flag character, I get stuck on how to speak like them. I don’t know if I’m explaining it well. I guess I need to read more books and watch more movies

@Kanye_Ariel - It started showing for me sometime this afternoon. I don't think it's universal. I think it's being rolled out in batches.
@SeraDrake I wonder why it’s not showing up for you cos my desktop view shows the social feed thingy. I feel like this will be more fun for people who actually have an audience or platform here on Wattpad.
I really need to stop overthinking because why did I suddenly decide to change a very important point in TWHM and now I have to edit it from the very beginning
I just need to learn to make up my mind… I think….
And I still have reviews but I’m acting like those don’t exist atm
@creatorofthechaos honestly! I’m still got a new idea today and I’m about to make changes, again. I should actually start reviewing but my work though… we’ll see
@Kanye_Ariel ikr sometimes we keep having a need to keep polishing and sometimes end up regretting it in the end for over polishing Also about reviews I think u should prioritise a little break for urself too ❤️✨

@Kanye_Ariel Huh? I never had side character backstory but I had best character backstory but since no one signed up for it I deleted it… I can definitely add it again though!
