A graduate of Spelman College with a Bachelor's degree in English and Journalism.  I have a wide range of writing skills which include published editorials and magazine articles.  I have a registered screenplay in the comedic genre although I tend to lend my craft more toward dramatic expression; including fiction and non-fiction. I was editor of a work related newsletter for five years and surprised myself with my ability to keep it both innovative and informative for the duration. I had the privilege of working as a public servant in various departments of the Social services for the City Of New York for over twenty years. It was a wonderful experience as I am by nature a true humanitarian.  My strengths are also in researching various aspects of sociopolitical business related material for general knowledge and personal leverage.  I am currently working on a book about a topic dear to my heart and although it is classified as fiction, much is based on true accounts. I have a screenplay I am also working on and very determined to finish so that I can finally exhale and feel that sense of accomplishment that only comes from having completed a work I have been passionate about for far too long. One of my most proud accomplishments is being the mother of two incredible young adults who by the Grace of God are productive and creative conscious young adults. I am married to a really Good man for the past eleven years. We remain close as we've weathered many hurdles together while we walk together in a world of change and challenge... And the beautiful thing is we still have a song in our hearts.
