"From the Heart" is inspired by my first heartbreak.  As every Taylor Swift fan knows, there is no greater source of inspiration than a broken heart.  Jason in real life became Julien in the story.  Eileen, who stole Jason's heart, became Aline.  Diane is my favourite character for her determination to rise to the top after a crushing heartbreak.
