I live in Cape Town,South Africa, and have a BA Hons degree from Stellenbosch University, Western Cape. My majors were English and French Literature. I also speak German and Afrikaans ( a simplified form of Dutch). I also furthered my French studies at Toulouse University in France.However I much prefer English Literature and Poetry.
I have two adult children and am already a grandmother. I have also qualified and worked as a TEFL teacher. I have written several short stories myself.
I am a widow and a great lover of dogs and classical music as well as a wide range of eclectic music. I have also been a voluntary compiler of music programs on radio..
 My most important jobs in the past were as a research Archivist at the National Archives of Zimbabwe and as a librarian in the Music Library of the University of Cape Town.
I have lived,worked and studied in 8 countries.I was born in Stockholm.
My favorite authors and poets are Anne Tyler,Barbara Kingsolver, Charles Dickens, W.B. Yeats, Emily Dickinson and many others. I especially like autobiographies.
