i haven’t talked in a minute… you can support someone’s transition even if you don’t like/support their behaviors in the past that were negative, people need to remember early 2000s so many words that aren’t at all acceptable today, were absurdly common. they were used by your friends, family, aunts, uncles. no one knew it wasn’t okay, i first learned a word people threw around like candy was a horribly offensive word when i became friends with someone who it was used against. it was so normalized to act/behave in harsh/rude behaviors. everyone wanted to fit in growing up. now, that doesn’t mean that they aren’t held accountable for doing something, but rather educate someone before yelling at them. I feel like people will use any excuse they can to not support something they don’t like. rather then simply not interacting, people would rather spread hate towards someone, because they’re unidentifiable. just. be kind to one another. it’s really not that hard. even if you don’t believe in something/like something, it’s not hard to simply be silent/supportive/learn things about it. being at least a decent human being really isn’t hard. anyways, proud of Chris. she’s looking fantastic. take care of yourselves my loves. <3
