Hi all, I'm Kat, I'm 28. I love to write and I love to tell stories. I love writing dystopian/post apocalyptic stories. I'm currently studying Creative and Professional Writing at QUT to help me hone my skills, but I still need help with elements of writing. 

Namely I need to work on my characterisation. I have trouble settling on a personal conflict for my characters, something that has them unique from the start. I also have issues with "info dumps" because I'm never sure if  what I've written is an info dump or important information. And I also have trouble with finishing pieces, I have a handful of stories going at once but none really close to finished. So that's why I thought WattPad would be a good place for me to start posting my stories - I have plenty of random chapters sitting around on my laptop.

I tend to read a lot of YA fiction, but I am very interested in the emerging market of NA fiction (New Adult) which has protagonists of around 18-30 years of age. This is a market I hope takes off because I adore the worlds and settings of YA novels, I just don't connect with 16 year olds anymore.
