I am a young adult who enjoys writing for other young adults (and sometimes children).

I live in north Alabama with my roommate and her cat, and spend most of my time at my day job, working as a legal assistant. Here I am blessed to be allowed to write on my laptop when I don't have other matters to attend to.

I am an avid player of video games, a movie lover, anime watcher, and of course, book reader.

The genre I primarily write is contemporary fantasy, though I also enjoy writing sci-fi, mysteries, contemporary, and a mix of other genres.


HONESY TIME: This is not my first account. I've been so awful in the past at logging in often and keeping things updated that my other accounts have been closed or I have simply long-forgotten the passwords. But! I swear I will do my best to regularly update this account and all stories posted on it.

Check out a story I co-wrote with my friend Emmy Dana, called "Six Months with Irene" about a girl (Irene) who gives a boy (Orion) six months to change her mind about her taking her own life. The story focuses on the challenged friendship that they find with each other, facing each other's demons and the uncertainty of their futures.

Right now I will be focusing on my story, "The Magician's Heir" set in the early 1930's about a magickal war against a mysterious and ancient enemy. The story focuses on a girl named Delaware Johnson, who was abandoned on the streets of London at a young age and was adopted into a rich family of magick wielders. The night of her adoptive brother's graduation from magickal training, a war against an ancient and mysterious enemy is announced and what follows thereafter is a swirling tunnel of mysteries and discoveries ancient and new, and a secret about a young woman's history and future.

Also to come will be stories of Faeries, radio transmissions in a futuristic dystopia, short stories of various kinds, and maybe even some collaborations with other authors!
