So I got a summer job recently and I have done 3 days so far. Thursday, yesterday and today. (Idk if I’m getting paid for Thursday bc it was like a practice run for me) and the place I’m working at is like a hotel and restaurant combined. The first 2 days, I was mainly cleaning the rooms and helped a little in the kitchen. Today?? I got there at 11 in the morning, i clean a few rooms until 12, at 12:30 the boss says we have guests coming (I didn’t know how many, I was never informed), and it’s 42 PEOPLE IN A WEDDING RECEPTION WITH A COCKTAIL HOUR, COFFE AND CAKE (German thing), AND THEN DINNER! I HAD TO MAKE ALCOHOLIC DRINKS AND SERVE THEM, WICH I’M TECHNICALLY NOT LEGALLY ALLOWED TO DO!!! I HAVE AT LEAST 20 THOUSAND STEPS AND MY FEET ARE FUCKING DEAD!!

These Political Ads are annoying the shit out of me. They can't be skipped, they take forever, and I seriously don't want to hear this shit. Oh vote for blah blah blah because blah blah blah. Like mfs, you are all bad people regardless of how great and "good" you make yourself look to be. Stop trying to make yourselves seem better than your competitors just to have some influence and power. You are all corrupted fake ass pieces of shit no matter what party you are apart of.

So me, my Ex and my brother just watched the Odyssey movie and it was good, yes, but the casting got so fucked up… also, my ex and I kept making epic references at the worst possible times and I know the lady sitting next to us must’ve been so annoyed
@Cateylebaby lol. I just watched The Great Gatsby" the play version at Devos in downtown Grand Rapids. Was AMAZING!! The vocals were top tier!
I genuinely feel so wired right now because my IPad has always been school issued and now i have to give it back tomorrow (even though it was shit and it’s stuck on IOS 15) and that also means i have to either write everything i want to on my phone or ask my older brother to borrow his laptop or my mom for her ipad and it feels so wired not having my own iPad anymore…

I got a Job!!! Yay!! It's a fun venue place 2 minutes from my house. 2 minutes in walking distance btw. Right now I'm on Garden Crew. So yesterday, literally just picked up weeds from the rocky areas of the venue to make them pretty. And I only worked 2 hours that day, because it was interview kind of set up. Basically, they had me try the job out, but I'm still getting paid. And the best parts: It's $15 an hour. It's an under-the-table job, so I don't have to worry about tax cuts. And I only work 1-2 days a week! Just from the 2 hours I spent working yesterday, I got $30! That is a lot to me, because I'm dead ass broke 24/7. So like, MONEY!! Easy Money!

@Cateylebaby Ikr. Like all it is, is Gardening! It's pulling weeds, picking up sticks, mowing the huge ass lawn. Things like that. And there is different jobs too. Like, Boot Crew. Boot Crew is the heavy lifting stuff. And then you also have paint crew, which is pretty self explanatory. And then there is actually running the party's at the venue. Like cooking, cleaning, serving. Basically Catering. And then Clean Up and Set Up. That's basically all the things to do at this job. So although I'm only on Garden Crew right now, I'm gonna try to do more than that.
Love how my parents tell me i don’t shower enough, but every time i try to shower they tell me it’s too late or that we’re doing something (-_-)
