I talk about many things in Practically Therapy for the Wicked. but in my latest chapter I went on this rant. Go checkout, vote, comment and let me know how you feel. 
          10) Virginity. I've been thinking about that recently and I hate the concept. Virgins. What is a virgin? It's basically someone who hasn't had sex. But plenty of people haven't done things and we don't call them names. Like what do you call a person who hasn't eaten pizza. (metaphor intended). Virginity was constructed to add value to a woman's inexperience in sexual relations. If a woman was "pure" her family would receive a bigger "bride price". i just looked that up. But I feel a much more sinister story. by valuing a girl's sexual inexperience and youth, younger girls are sold to older men. Older men had more money and because they wanted a young girl families would sell off their daughter to offset the dowery payment "if that makes sense".  I find old men that want a young woman gross. They probably can't satisfy a woman, because she knows what she wants, so a young girl is swaped in the woman place since she will be easier to satisfy. She doesn't know what she wants in bed, so grooming her is easier. She isn't as confident so grooming her to impress you is easier than a grown ass woman. Men are truly disgusting. The way they created a whole system to sell off women like they were a commodity. To use their body, and their sexuality against them for man's own gain. So this is why I hate virginity. the idea that girls who haven't had sex are more special. when a woman has sex she's a slut, she's less respectable. but of course when a man does, he's experienced, he's great in bed. Ugggggh I know the culture is changing, but this is what I grew up with. Thinking the second I have sex, I'm damaged goods. ---ugiahaklhfkalfhioa, now your husband can't take your virginity. The idea of taking/losing virginity is also fucked up.  Where did it go? I'm gonna write a song.

I feel like I have nowhere else to go. But sex is so overrated. I'm not having it unless I'm married. It's literally not worth doing with multiple strangers and what kills me is that I've always had this impression of sex. I'm so done and not glad to have the experience but glad I know for sure. I hate learning things the hard way, but that's what happens after 169 drinks and some weed, you lose confidence you don't gain it, sweetie.
