I've been busier than a one-armed paper hanger with my day job - right now I'm adapting some erotic romance into a game script, so I have spent more time writing about sex this week than a brothel owner ;)

My next "work" won't be seen here, though - I think I need support from a publisher on this one, so off it goes on its submission rounds.

That's the thing about self-publishing. You can't just slap it up. It needs editing, it needs a good cover, it needs to be formatted. With my short stories, I can handle or pay for all those things, but I've experimented with self-publishing novellas and I've concluded for now that readers get the best value from me when I work with a team.

Anyway, wish me luck? I'm going to need it :D

Greetings, friends! I'm hard at work on a novella that I'll be submitting to publishers, and doing the final edit on the next short story in the Morning After series. I'll be self publishing that, and I was wondering...how do you all feel about it when writers post samples (about 25% of the story) to Wattpad but ask that you buy the rest in order to know how it ends?

I don't want to upset anyone here, especially the people who've been so kind and given me so much helpful advice. But dog kibble isn't free and I need to earn a living, so I'm trying to find a happy medium.

Let me know what you think I should do!
