TheRogueIslander

Hi there, @Kathryn_M_Lane!

          I have just recently read one of your works, "Atheist," and I just LOVED what you had to say about atheists and atheism in general.
          I am - of course - an atheist who had just converted from Catholicism, and I recently came out to my mother at the beginning of this year. My cousins are also aware of my atheism, and have been accepting and understanding; my mother, on the other hand, was disappointed with my decision at first, but then she became okay with it. As of right now, I am the only atheist in my entire Catholic family.
          What some people tend to think about atheists like us, is that we either worship the Devil (which is ironic, since we don't believe in that!); that we have no morals; or that we have no purpose in life, at all.
          But they're wrong: we have EVERYTHING to live for. Just because we're atheists, it doesn't mean we have no morals, or that we are less human.
          So on behalf of myself and many other atheists, agnostics, and freethinkers, I would like to thank you for defending and supporting atheism, and just trying to make people understand the struggles and the discrimination that even non-believers have had to face over the years.

          Sincerely,
          @ChrisTheIslander

... I'm kind of speechless...

            Thank you so much for that ChrisTheIslander .

            I am so glad you appreciate it. As you probably already learned from my book, my sole focus is to not only rid of discrimination against atheists, but against everyone. And to show that atheism isn't evil but just the opposite.

            Also, because of people like you and me who are atheists living in a religious family. Or just atheists in general. I would like to defend us through words that understand and show examples of why we're just like anyone else. That is the reason I wrote this book. So it is incredible to see that someone like me is reading. Someone like you.

            You haven't any idea how good it feels to an author to read a note like this from a reader. Thank you so much again for reading. You just made my day.

            Sincerely,
            Kathryn M Lane
