Katie Ashley is a New York Times, USA Today, and Amazon Best-Selling author. She lives outside of Atlanta, Georgia with her daughter, Olivia, mutts, Belle and Elsa, and cat, Harry Potter. Oh, and a Betta fish, Blue. She has a slight obsession with Pinterest, The Golden Girls, Shakespeare, and Harry Potter, 
She is the author of The Proposition, The Proposal, and The Pairing, along with the Runaway Train series: Music of the Heart, Beat of the Heart, Strings of the Heart, and Melody of the Heart. She also has the Young Adult titles: Don't Hate the Player...Hate the Game, Nets and Lies, Jules, the Bounty Hunter, and The Guardians, along with the New Adult: Search Me. 

Her traditionally published series with Penguin book includes Vicious Cycle, Redemption Road, and Last Mile. 

With a BA in English, a BS in Secondary English Education, and a Masters in Adolescent English Education, she has spent the last eleven years teaching both middle and high school English. As of January 2013, she is a full-time writer.
