Working on it. Pinky promise! I’m just having a very stressy week at work (my boss did not do her job right, went on vacation and her house of cards tumbled down. Everybody hates her now and I have to pick up the pieces, because a customer is sitting in our necks) and at the weekend I’m at a bachelorette party (hopefully I can go home sooner, so I can write at Sunday)

In book 3. I can not tell how many chapters in, but book two will end in Volterra, so definitely after that and definitely before the planned end of book 3
How would you describe Tilly?? I mean will we be meeting with some extention of Kora in her or is she her own person ?? What will be she bring to the table??
Tilly is by now means anywhere close to Kora. Tilly is supposed pure and sweet and honest. She’s… like a soft spring wind, who melts the ice and lets the first flowers pop up. Kora is the Autumn wind, playfully pushing around leaves and bringing the first stinging cold bites of winter. Tilly acts out a lot in the last chapter, because she’s highly depressed. Depression can show in so many different ways, I wanted to show that in her always being tired or not wanting to connect with her adorable father or other children and never choosing fun. Right now she’s a shadow of herself. But she’s supposed (and hopefully) will be able to grow back to herself again.
Hopefully Tilly will help Tommy in growing a spine of his own ?

@Lilywritesstory but even if it is aro in the end, you won’t have to worry. He’s one of the characters I’m gonna change anyways to a degree (same as Mr. Confederate-jasper, who’ll get a fat redemption arc in his backstory) and as I said, the story never mainly focused on love, but more on kora and her way through the origins of the supernatural world (and for that I need a king as an antagonist, who she’s drawn to and hates at the same time) Besides there is only one final male lead in this „love triangle“, not two. So chances are good it’s not him/Caius but I don’t promise anything. I’ll only be able to tell you once I’ve written it. My characters tend to do their own thing when interacting
@Lilywritesstory Ah… I know what you mean now. I’ve written the summary in the same notes I’m always using and copied a part of an „ancient“ description with it. My bad. I was tired And a little bit drunk because somebody gave me damn alcohol pralines I’m gonna change it.

First a hella lot of thanks for reading the story here AND on AO3!❤️❤️ I did imply it, because I’m playing with the thought of him or Caius and I’m (quite) sure one of them will be it. But nothing is written in stone yet! I did change the AO3 summary lately but I’m sure I haven’t written something about aro there (just „the vampire king“).

If found the rhythm that I write Springtide most of the time during my work hours when I have nothing to do. I’m glad to announce I can write a lot today I did a little more research, since I did not like the first drafts that much, but I hope I can give you Springtide this week too
