My dear readers,
Please! I beg! If you see something wrong with my writing (misspellings, missing words, wrong word use [ex. there, their, they’re; your, you’re], punctuation misuse, etc), please let me know in the comments so I can go back and edit it. I know people don’t because they fear they’ll annoy or offend the writer. I’m literally one of those readers so I get it. But I’m here to assure you, I won’t get offended for you pointing out my mistakes. Instead, I’ll cherish you deeply while I fix it. It’s okay if you are just reading for leisure and don’t wish to be my ghostediter, I’m not saying this as a requirement for reading my stories, it would just be nice.
What I do NOT tolerate is people telling me what direction my story should go in. My stories are already pre-planned for the most part so I’m not open for suggestions (unless it’s a collection of oneshots book). Luckily, I’ve never had to deal with people like this, but I’ve seen it happen to other writers and it pisses me off that it even happens period. Be respectful and take the discussion to Twitter or a group chat with other readers, not in the comments!
In short: Please let me know when I make mistakes in my writing so I can fix it but don’t tell me how I should write my story.
Thank you for reading, voting, and commenting on my stories! I love you and take care!
