There are lots of other books you could try, if you liked Jane :)
1. Prisoner! This is a period drama set in a bronze age, of a teenage girl taken prisoner, who is befriended by twin princesses in the land of her captors.
2. Helen at Ballet Camp. This is most definitely a Helen book. Helen is a character whom you may not like: a musician and all-rounder. In this story, she changes her name, and goes as an assistant at a highly permissive ballet camp in France. It has a tiny bit of sex, but is essentially a teen adventure.
3. Alexandra. This is a 600+ -page book for young adults, complete in itself. The erotic elements are only a minor undercurrent. It is about a 17-year-old girl who becomes queen in a colony planet in the far future. The technological level has regressed to about that of the 19th century (they have guns, but not much more), and the heroine, Alexandra, struggles to lead a defense against an invasion from their neighbors. Alexandra is actually married to a princess from a friendly nation, but the marriage sours, and the story follows their tortured path to reconciliation.

@KayBrown6 Prisoner! is a must read. I finished it in two days, I could not put it down except to go to sleep. It was pure fun and a total adventure. If there is no sequel, I will be forced to throw myself from the castle wall.
