Even though I wrote my three Dragnet 1967 stories 10 years ago, I have added some new paragraphs/dialogue/scenes and corrected the police protocol/procedure of the day, with the help of a good online friend.
After four years and a grueling two months of rewrites and timeline changes, I have finally completed my Dragnet 1948 story The Big Witness! The final chapter (12) has been posted!

After four years of real life interrupting my writing, (divorce, moving, a severe blood clot, and back surgery), my newest Dragnet story, The Big Witness, has finally been updated with Chapters 10 and 11. I am currently working on Chapter 12.
Two non-fiction pieces of mine have been published in the book, The Crickets: Six Decades of Rock 'n' Roll, which can be found at Amazon and Barnes and Noble websites. My contributions are on pages 76 and 256.
@TwistedRose28 Thank you so much for taking the time to read (and enjoy!) my three Dragnet stories. I had a blast writing them and hope to add more in the future!
Thanks, again!

Great to see another new face here! Thanks for finding and checking out my profile! Glad to hear you are familiar with some of the shows I write about. I'm sure you'll enjoy them! Feel free to let me know what you thought of my stories once you've read them. Thanks again!
It's so refreshing to see some of my favorite fandoms represented on your page. I adore Dragnet and Andy Griffith. Thx for posting your fan fictions. Can't wait to read them
Dear JYHarris,
Thanks for the welcome! What I had planned on posting here is a short fiction story (mainly for teens), and possibly a poem or essay. I do have ideas for other short stories (mostly geared toward YA). I don't plan on posting my fan fiction here--this doesn't seem like a fan fiction-type of site. I think it's strictly fiction. But I'll still browse around. If I could post my fan fiction, there are other stories I've written that can be read by teens and young adults. I will not post my Dragnet stories here as they are geared toward adults.
I'll definitely check out those message boards. Thanks again for the welcome!

Hi, Jean!
After browsing the website some, I've discovered that you can post fan fiction (as I saw a category for it). I saw that your Brief Encounter story was rated R. I've decided that I will post my Dragnet stories, but label them with an R rating and proper warnings. I'm going to check the layout of the site on posting stories. In the next week or so, I hope to have something up.

Welcome KayEn78. :-) If you've looked around here on WP you'll know that there are a LOT of young people here (teens). For someone who whose stories are NOT geared toward teens, I think it can be challenging to find an audience here, so you may want to keep it in mind.
Anyway, good to see you here. (Oh, there are a number of discussion threads that we "adults" hang out in, feel free to look around and join in any conversations you like.) :-)
