It has been a minute since I last posted anything to this account. I had hoped that the next time I posted, it would be with new chapters of Claimed By A Cat Alien. Unfortunately, that isn’t the case.
          
          It is with a heavy heart that I’m announcing my decision to temporarily unpublish the story for a rewrite.
          
          I know some of you have been here since day one, while others have only recently discovered Rhyzel and Natasha and are waiting to see where the next arc of their relationship takes them. To every single one of you: thank you for giving little ol’ me and my story a chance. Thank you for loving Rhyzel and Natasha, rooting for them, and following their journey as far as you have.
          
          This is not goodbye to Claimed By A Cat Alien.
          
          I have no intention of permanently shelving the story. This is simply an author looking at something she loves and realizing that it can be more—that I can make it closer to the story I truly imagined it could be. So, I’m pulling it down while I work through the rewrites, edits, and chapter overhauls it needs.
          
          Once that work is complete, Rhyzel and Natasha will return.
          
          And before they go for a little while, I need to say one more thing.

          Every star, every review, every comment, every person who kept reading—you gave me the courage to keep trying. You have no idea how important that encouragement has been to me throughout this journey.
          
          So thank you. So, so much.
          
          I am eternally grateful.

Okay, first—sorry for the delay. Between illness and life becoming wonderfully chaotic, things got a little rough for a while. But I have been working, even during the silence. When I couldn’t sit at a keyboard, I was still dictating scenes and pushing the story forward until I could properly write again.
          
          And honestly? Some pretty massive changes came out of that process. Changes I think made the story stronger.
          
          Chapter 18 was rewritten entirely from the opening onward, and I’m currently about 75% finished with it. There’s a lot happening in this chapter. Chapter 19 is around 85% complete, and yes—we finally arrive in Goldrith to begin unraveling the mystery:
          
          Where is Lisa?
          
          This is also the final week of school for the kiddos, which means I can finally reclaim my evenings after work and focus again.
          
          If all goes well, I’m hoping to have the next two chapters posted within about a week once final edits and cleanup are done.
          
          And to everyone who stuck around during the wait: thank you. Truly. Your patience means more than you know.
          
          The next arc is going to reveal truths Natasha may not be ready for.

Quick update: I’m still working on this story, but life has me a bit tied up right now. It’s been a little while since my last update, and I appreciate you all sticking with me.
          
          When I return, I’m planning a chapter drop with multiple updates at once,so we’ll make up for lost time.

Quick update. My stories haven’t been abandoned. Unfortunately, I’ve been dealing with a sick household for the past two weeks, which threw my writing schedule off track. I promise Chapter 18 is coming—and I’m going to try to release Chapter 19 on the same day. Please bear with me. Thank you all again for your support and understanding. You being here, reading my humble story, means the world to me. I’m truly sorry for the delay.

Heads up. I pulled chapters 11-17 of Claimed By A Cat Alien for some minor editing. Those chapters will be restored gradually over the next two days. I know it's crazy, but it's my writer's brain at work. Chapters 18 and possibly 19 will be published no later than Friday. I apologize for the delay.  And if you've stuck with me, thank you!

          I want you to know that I am working on it. These chapters take time, and I never want to rush them. My goal is always to give you something well-written and enjoyable when I finally hit publish.
          
          The good news: Chapter 18 is over 85% complete. I'm currently finishing up the final act, so we're very close.

Update Time!
          
          Hi, friends! I know you’ve been patiently waiting for the next chapters of Claimed by a Cat Alien, and I promise—they’re coming.
          
          Here’s where we are:
          
          Chapter 16 – 99% complete. Just a few tiny edits left, and I’m finishing those today.
          
          Chapter 17 – 85% done. I’m working through the closing beats, and whew… they have given me absolute hell. I wanted to cry. But they’re important, so they’re staying.
          
          Chapter 18 – 75% complete (yes, I absolutely skipped ahead when I got stuck—don’t judge me ).
          
          Technically, I could post Chapter 16 today… but I really want you to experience at least 16 and 17 together. The impact will hit better that way.
          
          So hang in there just a little longer. I’m moving as fast as I can while still making sure these chapters land the way they’re supposed to.

          I'm currently working on the next two chapters for Claimed by a Cat Alien and hope to have them posted sometime this week. Chapter 16 ended up being much longer than expected, so I’ve split it into two chapters.
          
          For those following Love and Circuits, I’m also hoping to post the next chapter soon.
