@KayNichols congratulations on that btw, and it doesn't sound insane, The Absolute is the first book I a. Completely fully and b. Was really passionate about, I put it up for the Ambys full on thinking it wasn't going anywhere, then it goes pass all three rounds and becomes a grand favorite and even though I am shocked and happy, I'm also like, is it really that good?

            When I first hit #1, I was so excited—still not clear on how it happened, but overjoyed. Then it hit me: I could be seen. I was exposed. And not only that… those around me had tens of thousands of views. I felt completely out of place.
            
            Where I once wrote confidently and happily in the shadows, I suddenly started comparing myself. Yikes. It nearly crushed me.
            
            I had to take a deep breath and remember the promise I made to myself: if even one person liked what I put out, that would be enough. I owe it to the ones who gave me a shot to finish what I started.
            
            I know you didn’t ask for all of this… lol. But as someone on a similar journey, I imagine you get it.

@KayNichols I understand that, I almost took my entire book down.
