Update: I'm closing my patreon. Only 1 person joined since I started it in May. So there's no point in keeping it up anymore.
"Out There: The 1K" will be here for free until I can publish it on Amazon, or find an agent actually willing to take a chance on me. It's still my heart and soul. I've been deep into this world for more than 4.5 years. I'm not giving up on it. I have to trust in it.

OUT THERE: THE 1K IS COMPLETE.
Well, Part 1 is complete.
I'm editing part 2.
The way I wrote this would be like a 2 part series premiere, since the original idea was to have this in the platform of a show with each chapter being its own episode.
I can't wait to start releasing all of the short stories and ideas I have that go on past these two books. :)
Chapter 19 - A Reluctant Truce - is up!
Summary:
Yune and Selka seek out help from Selka’s masakan friend, Fenrick Tahl, to steal back her purloined ship from the Dyne’s personal docking bay.
A new chapter that might make you cry, or at least feel some pain is up. "Memory In Rain." Where the kids remember what it feels like to be out in rain. Seems simple, right? Read on. It's not.
Same. :) I hope this is satisfying that need for you. I'd actually cut out part where Will remembers his mother, but can't recall who she is. I thought it was too soon after their rescue.
I've decided to keep going on posting chapters to this book instead of ending it at chapter 14 - the end of Act 1.
Act 2 - the tragedy part of an opera - begins at 15.
Thinking of splitting this into part 1 and part 2, though.
I haven't updated in a while, I know. I've been working on different options to choose from to end this story to it's left open ended. I've also been editing an audiobook I record for, and that takes TIME. If you've ever narrated for an audiobook, then you know how many hours of work go into it.
I will finish this book, though. I hope you're enjoying it so far. :)
I know I'm working two jobs now to try to pay off pandemic debt, but I'm still making time in the midnight hours to write. :) I'm working on the next chapter.
