Also posting this here bc I wanna have a discussion but are u familiar with enneagram personality types? I just took an enneagram test on Hyuga's POV and I got a type 7. It didn't include a wing, but looking at the descriptions he most likely is a 7w6. Thoughts?

@Kayetra_Spade_Queen okay so here's my argument, but the one main reason I deduced Hyuga was specifically a 7w6 is bc while this type indulges in positive experiences, they also find it more compelling when they're experiencing it with their support system. This is most especially evident in the final chapters of the superking manga when Hikaru quits Beyblading

@r0mali3 I fully agree on that. I had this conversation before with a friend; Hikaru whether others realized this or not, is Hyuga's rival. In fact, both Hikaru and Lane are classified as Hyuga's rival, not rivals, as in they're categorized as the same entity. My reason being is that Hikaru was actually a really good Blader that he won the national tournament (per manga version). He was the rival Hyuga needed, the goal Hyuga is set to achieve. Lane is the path to that goal, an obstacle. When Lane traumatized Hikaru so bad that he quit Beyblading, it was made as to make Hyuga's goal all the more meaningful, a reason to keep going; bringing Hikaru back to Beyblading again, bringing Hikaru back to the time where Hikaru was still happy, because Beyblading was once also Hikaru's source of happiness until Lane shattered that for him. Anime isn't doing too much justice on relaying these messages, but Hyuga is the type to want to share the happiness with others, and in this case Hikaru (and Lane too if you wanna stretch it out). Hyuga wanted to bring his brother back to where he was happy, and bringing Lane to the meaning of the thing that makes them happy

@r0mali3 I like to think that Hyuga didn't understand why Hikaru quit. He knew he quit because he was afraid, he just didn't understand what was there to fear bc, again, the brothers have different core beliefs. Hikaru's fear was rooted in not being enough (which makes me wonder if he's either a type 3 or a type 6), Hyuga's was rooted on wallowing in inactivity. The reason why Hyuga has quit his previous interests was bc he didn't have anyone to share it with and so became bored, didn't want to continue feeling bored, and so moved on to other interests. He didn't understand why Hikaru quit when Hyuga, their parents, the Comets, and the Legends were all there to support him. He didn't understand that it was ultimately that same support from everyone that Hikaru had interpreted as expectations he HAD to fulfill, which was then uprooted from him by Lain, leaving him with no motivation to continue his passion. I WANNA SCREAM I LOVE THEM SM
