Your kids are not your property.
They are not your robots to control.
You created them.
But that doesn't mean for you to control them.
They were made with their own brains.
Therefore they can control themselves.
They are not meant to be controlled by others.
They are meant to be controlled by themselves.
Don't control your kids.
As a parent it's your job to make sure your kid is okay.
It's not your job to control every single little thing that they do.
They are their own person.
If you don't want them to do the things you did.
The best thing you can do is try to tell them what you think is the right thing to do.
And if they do what you think is the wrong thing to do, it's on them, because you know what? That's life.
You live and learn.
People are people.
You shouldn't try and control what they do and you shouldn't decide for them.
They have a life.
Life is all about choices.
Young or old.
When you were a kid you made a lot of choices, and mistakes, didn't you?
Life is all about mistakes and choices.
You lived and learned.
And if you won't let them live and learn, then what's their life?
You're only a kid for so long.
Let them make the most of it, while they can.
