Hey, I don't know wattpad keeps deleting my comment attempts on your last post, but just wanted to say congrats! I'm so halpy everything is going well for you and that you're finally finished! Mad respect for composing music entirely by yourself! I cannot wait to read/hear it all and see how it comes together! I was meaning to find a way to reach out and see how writing full time has been going! Glad to see it's going well :)

110k words later, and I've FINALLY finished writing Act I/(Book 1?) of my psychological horror novel Still Alive!! (..Don't ask how many years it took me.) In addition to writing, I've also been composing music as a sort of "soundtrack" for the story, as well as drawing chapter title cards.
          
          Unfortunately I still can't start sharing chapters publicly quuiiiiite yet, because there's still a few tasks I want to finish first:
          
          1a. Finish composing/performing/recording/mixing/mastering the rest of the songs in Act I's soundtrack
          1b. Make the art for the background image for each of these songs for when they're shared on YouTube (although some might just be the title name)
          1c. Mess with whatever animation or audio spectrum visualizer these videos will have
          2. Create a thorough outline for Act II
          3. Rewrite chapter 1
          
          ..Not gonna lie, finishing the music feels like a gargantuan task to me right now 'cause it's difficult and I'm so freaking SLOW at it. But I'm hoping the more I do it, the better and faster I'll get at it..

Hey there! Sorry to post this on your feed; I didn't know how else to get directly ahold of you. This is a little strange, but I'm trying to get physical copies of ISBU out this week and I was just finalizing a few things. I was wondering if you would mind me putting your name in the acknowledgements since you were (as far as I can recall) pretty much my first online readers from the beginning. Your support and feedback has meant a lot to me over the years and I wanted to thank you for that. If you're not comfortable with it, though, I totally get it! So, uh, today I learned there is apparently a LIMIT for the amount of chapters in a story you can save as unpublished drafts... 25. Lol. 
          
          While I've been writing my story, I've been copy pasting each chapter into unpublished drafts for my eyes only, just so I can see how it would look to Wattpad readers (especially because I've drawn banner art for each chapter), and because it feels good to see tangible evidence of the progress I've made despite not sharing any of it publicly. But, uh, I guess I can't do that anymore!
          
          (Once I start sharing it publicly, I'm publishing it as a separate story from my unpublished draft version anyways. Otherwise, if I just published the unpublished drafts, the story stats would show 357+ extra views that are from me only...)
          
          Anyways, I figured this would be a good time to say something, since I actually have some very kind people who are following me despite me having 0 public works right now! This is my way of saying "I promise I'm really working on what I've said I've been working on".. and also that the "big chunk of chapters" I want to finish before sharing anything publicly are apparently the equivalent of a whole book! (..This story will probably have to be split into 2 or 3 books once it comes time to publish it in real life.) And I am NEARING THE END of that first book!!
          
          I still have multiple chapters to go + their title card arts + all the music I've been making for it though, so it's still gonna be a while. But still!
          
          Mostly I just think it's funny that Wattpad went "Okay we get it, you're writing a lot of chapters but not publishing them. STOP IT."
