Just by reading the blanket I felt that it was sad because I felt that the dad didn't wanna be around his father anymore so he wanted to set him away for good. I also felt a love relationship between the grandson and grandfather how they was being around each other and the son wanted to share the blanket with his dad to so when he go away he can be nice and warm.
