I've made the choice that I need to scrap what I have of DTYT because it's been over a year since I started it and it still isn't finished. Don't worry, I am going to continue work on it. BUT I do think I need to get a version of it started that is more fresh in my mind.
I'm glad that you've been enjoying it but I do feel this is the best thing for it.
So something's reccently happened in my area. I don't want to go into the details, but I'm having a rough time right now and idk when I'll post the next update.
I know I know. Shocker. But I try to be consiststant with it. I really do.
I just finished writing chapter twenty three for you guys! I cannot wait to share this with you! I'm so exited about the story now. I haven't felt this excited about it in a while now!
Hey guys. So a lot is going on in my life right now so I just wanted to give a little update to those of you who follow my novel closely for some reason. (Don't get me wrong, I'm thankful for it, I just don't particularly understand why).
That being said, I DO have a bit more of my novel written, but it's going to take me a long time to update it again (*gasp* Roz taking a long time to update NO WAY). Between losing my dog earlier this week (RIP Tucker, I'll love you forever buddy), starting a new job, having to say good bye to the senior, and losing my place as section leader of the percussion section (I know it sounds stupid, but I was really passionate about that role. Passionate on a level the new section leader can never match because she only did it to get the flashy title. It's going to be my senior year and I lost to a going-to-be junior. Don't get me started on that because I will bitch about it for an hour). So I just wanted to let you know that there is a REASON this time around for the long wait for a new update (other than I just forgot about it for a couple of weeks n such). I can't tell you WHEN I'm going to end up updating again because I don't know. I need to give myself plenty of time to grieve for my dog (who we'd had since he was old enough to leave his mom a grand 13 whole years ago). But yeah.
I know it's been a long time since I updated my novel despite having up to chapter twenty-one written. I just have a lot going on. That's why I decided to give you two new chapters on this lovely Saturday morning (at least morning for me) for ya'll to enjoy. Well, hopefully enjoy.
