It’s just a story and it’s moral. It’s kind of a call to love, a little bit.
Long story short, I’ve been a total she-devil all day to my four year old sister, who, by the way, didn’t deserve it. Tonight, while we were eating out, I saw her write her name in her cute lopsided handwriting on her to go box. I literally started crying in the middle of the restaurant. I guess it was just because she was so innocent. I had no reason to be mad dr her at all. I hugged her and begged for her to forgive me. I’ll never forget what she did. She took my hand, looked up at me, and said “it’s okay!” And then started walking towards the car. I totally didn’t deserve that forgiveness, and she loved me so much she brushed it off like no big deal.
Of course I cried harder.
So if you take anything from this, I hope it’s don’t be like me, love your people, and FORGIVE them. Be just like her. Take their hand and walk them out. You have no idea how that feels. To be completely forgiven. So I beg you to do it for someone else. Tell them you love them and be there for them.
Ok, love you guys, I hope you found this helpful and/or inspiring.
I’m still crying tbh, but I’ll get over it.
