Keith sat down and gestured for the android to sit beside him, yet refusing to meet its eyes. “Stop speaking so formally. He wouldn’t do that.”
“Right.” The android ignored the man’s invitation to sit and got straight to answering questions. “What was your relationship with Lance Serrano?”
“Lover.”
“Cause of death?”
Keith flinched. “Car crash.”
“Marmora tech prides itself on imitating those lost to us. So why is it you wish to refer to me as ‘Lance McClain’?”
Keith bit his lip, glaring harshly at the ground. “Like you said, you’re an imitation. You’re not him.” He stood up. “Is that it? I want to go to my room.”
“Yes.” the android answered. “That is all.”
The small child looked up to this stranger, her scarlet eyes hesitant. The girl seemed to be about ten, wearing a white shirt with a long, red skirt, her brown locks framing her face.
"...Who are you?" She asks, rising an eyebrow.
