Hey, kind of just an update on the Rewriting History rewrite and about the new guidelines
          	
          	The rewrite is going well, just taking a bit long mostly due to life, we probably won't upload any chapters until we have a bit of a backlog. Honestly, it's way better than the og already in my opinion.
          	
          	Anyways, on the topic of the guidelines, I only just found out about the changes coming in lol
          	
          	We might have to edit the og book just to age up the characters a bit by the looks of things, since Red and Link are only physically and mentally 17 when they start being intimate, which will be changed in the new book anyway because I'm frankly uncomfortable with writing minors having sexual relations now anyways, and, it's going to be more of a slow burn.
          	
          	So, yeah, if you guys notice the aging up of characters, that's why, but they will be 17 at the beginning of the rewrite, just nothing sexual until after they turn 18 lol
          	
          	In case anything happens to Rewritng History on here despite this, the original story will still be up on Quotev, and the rewrite if going to be on Quotev and AO3 as well when we begin to upload and release chapters of that

Hello readers!
          
          Rewriting History has been written nearly 4 years now, and we're glad for anyone who has stuck around. But now, we're taking a hiatus to rewrite it.
          
          Why?
          
          Because in all honesty, it feels rushed, especially the first few chapters. Red and Link honestly fall for each other way too soon, not to mention it was not well planned out in the beginning stages, and many subjects were not handled well (cough cough Cancer's whole plot).
          
          When we first started this, me (Keeto) and Ash (or Aj_ on here) were 13/14 years old, and honestly, we've come a long way as writers and people in general since then.
          
          Ultimately, this will be left up, and may stay up as the 'old version' so people can go back and read it. The rewritten version will follow the same plot and we will make sure to include the same scenes from this into the rewritten version (just written to be better and less rushed). Do not expect all the characters to stay exactly the same though.
          
          I'd like to apologise for doing this after leaving the last chapter on a cliffhanger and not updating for 4 months, but just know that Alec is (mostly) okay in what could get done within what was going to be the newest chapter. He just has... a lot of problems.
          
          For now, just imagine that Red and Link went off to defeat ThunderBlight and Calamity Ganon because they were and are going to do that anyway!

          I would like to wish a Happy 35th anniversary to The Legend of Zelda! This is a bit late since it was yesterday for me but still!
          The new chapter of Rewriting History is going as smoothly as it can with school and me and @Ajplayzlol are doing our best to get it out as quickly as possible without rushing it!
