I belong to several writing groups, and have just finished the second daft of my first novel. A historical romance set in 18th century Cornwall. it needs more work. I am more committed to a biography of my father and have done much of the research but there is more to do.
My other interests are walking. Come and join the Aynho health walks every Thursday.
Also travelling and theatre and family history..
Favourite authors Ian McEwen, Sebastian Faulks, Hilary Mantel, Julian Barnes, Sara Banerji.

My background is in Teaching. We spent six years teaching in Kenya in the late sixties/early seventies. Later I was Deputy Head at John O Gaunt School Hungerford at the time of the Massacre. A terrible time, and from there I became head of a Comprehensive school in Bicester. Pleased to be retired from education these days.

I am married to a very talented artist, Carol McClellan.
