          I don't know if you're ever going to see this and I honestly don't really know if I want you to because it’s most likely going to be a bit of a ramble about absolutely nothing.
          
          Tomorrow I'm going overseas (to my motherland!!!) on a layover flight for a wedding. It’s a route I’ve travelled so many times as a kid. And for some reason, those long layovers always became Wattpad time. I’d download a bunch of stories before the flight, then sit in airport lounges and just read. It kind of became a tradition without me even realizing.
          
          During my last trip back home, right before lockdown in 2020. I was 15 (turning 16) and already thinking I was probably too old for Wattpad, but the nostalgia hit and I redownloaded it just for that one layover. That was when I found harts, I finished every available chapter in that 1 sitting and I couldn't stop thinking about the 6 main characters for the ENTIRE trip. I WAS HOOOKED and you hadn't even finished the story yet. 
          
          The rest of my 2020 can be summed up in high school zoom calls, doomscrolling, an strange indie phase and fantasizing and waiting for the next harts chapter to drop. I have so many good memories with that book and honestly all of your books but harts really stuck out for some reason, maybe its because it was my first idk.
          
          Right now I'm lying in bed, unable to sleep (its 1:30 am), I've scrolled tiktok  hours and send my sister about 5 videos but all I can think about are those old flight layovers and Harts. So know I've ended up logging into my old Wattpad account for the first time in YEARS (even in 2020 I was only logging in occasionally to see if you had updated yet) I had to reset my password and even find my old password and username (which btw is based on Charli XCX who I was a HUGE fan of before it was even cool, like I was brat before brat was brat). 
          
          Its 2am now, I'm running out of characters on this...I suppose its a bit of a love letter to you and wattpad in general but thx u 4 everything <3

          It's been a minute, but @thewattys released the shortlist today and I'm beyond thrilled that Hart's is included! 
          
          Wanted to take a moment to virtually jump for joy and thank everyone who has read, voted, and commented on the story—it's made a world of a difference and I really appreciate every bit of support! Hart's was a project that I worked on tirelessly over my summer breaks and was really excited to share, and I'm still continually blown away by the response! One year out from completion, I never expected it to land here but I'm SO excited to see what's to come!

          So WOW, it's been a hot minute since I've updated here and written about Lila and Finn! (For a while, honestly, I was just tired of the pandemic and couldn't muster up the creativity to write about it.) A huge thank you to anyone who's stuck around, added Pick Me Up to their reading list, and left lovely comments because it's been really encouraging as I get back into it!
